Social Service League of Ithaca Grant Guidelines and Application
The mission of the Social Service League is to support Tompkins County not-for-profit, human service organizations in their work to address the most significant community needs. Any not-for-profit, incorporated, human/social service provider in Tompkins County is eligible to apply. Ordinarily, public/government agencies and individuals are not eligible to receive funds. Projects must prove the ability to sustain themselves without continuing support from the League. Funding is not granted for capital fund drives or deficits. For more information, contact John Mazzello at the Human Services Coalition at 607-273-8686.
In 2015-2016, the Social Service League of Ithaca Foundation received 23 applications requesting a total of $75,994 in support. The Board met in November and allocated $16,209 to 15 organizations. The Human Services Coalition continues to provide technical support and facilitate the funding process.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2016-2017 grant funding cycle. The application deadline is Friday, September 30, 2016.
